Freedom of Information Act
We routinely publish a wide range of documented information in accordance with the Freedom of Information Act.
The Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 gives individuals the right to access all recorded information held by Scotland's public authorities, which includes the University.
It also requires that we have a publication scheme, which sets out the types of information that we routinely make available.
This publication scheme includes:
- Details of information that is available
- How to access this information
- Information that may be withheld
- Reproduction and postage costs
Further information about our publishing scheme is available from the University of Edinburgh Publishing Scheme website.
