Furnishings

All study bedrooms are equipped with the following furniture: 

  • Single bed 
  • Headboard with shelving and overhead light
  • Bedside cabinet
  • Desk with drawers and overhead light
  • Study chair

  • Shelving/storage at desk 
  • Full height mirror 
  • Bin 
  • Pinboard 
  • Internet provision, hard wired and wireless provision 

Bedding 

  • Bedding is NOT included in your rent.

Bathrooms 

  • All rooms are en-suite and have a private shower, WC and wash hand basin. 
    • 3 of our Studio flats have DDA wet rooms. These are located in Whin House (due to open September 2026)
    • 22 of our Large rooms have DDA wet rooms. These are located in Whin House and Carmine House (due to open September 2026)

Kitchen/living areas 

This is self-catered accommodation and kitchens are equipped with the following items: 

  • Four-ring electric hob and oven 
  • Microwave 
  • Fridge/Freezer 
  • Vacuum cleaner 
  • Dining area and chairs
  • Sofa/s and coffee table
  • Flat screen TV (TV Licence not included) 
  • Dust pan & brush, mop and bucket 
  • Ironing board 
  • Kettle 

The following items are not provided:

  • Crockery and cutlery
  • Pots, pans and frying pans

Communal facilities and services 

  • There is a variety of communal spaces accessible by all residents, suitable for socialising, studying or holding meetings/presentations and events.  There are also music rooms, gaming room and onsite laundry

Cleaning and housekeeping 

  • Residents are responsible for keeping their own bedroom and ensuite clean and tidy
  • Residents should clear rubbish and remove all recycling to the designated areas
  • It is the joint responsibility of all residents to keep the communal areas clean (kitchen & hallways)
  • Staff will visit your flat occasionally to assist you in keeping communal areas clean
  • It is the joint responsibility of all residents to keep the Common Room, Laundry and other communal areas of the building clean and tidy
  • Please note that all our accommodation is non-smoking, this includes e-cigarettes/vapes.

Utilities

All utility bills included - there is an average allowance of electricity but overuse can result in additional charges.

Internet

High speed wireless internet is available throughout the property and each bedroom has a data outlet for a wired connection.
