At the top of Broughton Street is the Omni Centre which includes a Vue cinema. Next door to the Omni Centre is the Playhouse Theatre, one of the UK’s largest theatres. A further 10-minute walk will take you to Princes Street, the centre of Edinburgh.
Behind the Playhouse, sits Calton Hill with some absolutely stunning views across the city. A 10-minute walk from your door lies the Royal Botanic Gardens, an oasis of calm with more incredible views across Edinburgh. The Water of Leith is also close by which offers a walk along the river that runs for 22 miles, ending in the Port of Leith.
And, if you fancy buying some local produce, the Stockbridge Market runs every Sunday only 15 minutes’ walk away, a great place for foodies and art lovers.
