It is a condition of accepting your offer of accommodation that our students provide the University with an approved payment method.

Students can opt to pay in full or in instalments. Where the total period of the tenancy is less than 100 days, paying in full is the only payment option.

Students who opt to pay in instalments can choose to pay by Direct Debit or Recurring Card payment on a monthly or semester basis.

Students have the option to make an advance payment of £1,000, £2,000 or £3,000 as part of their accommodation application. Any advance payments will be deducted from the total accommodation fees invoice to help spread the cost of the accommodation fees throughout the year. An email will be sent to all students detailing the repayment schedule once their offer has been accepted. If you are paying on their behalf, you will need to ask your son or daughter to forward it to you. This is also the case for any issues that they may have, as we cannot communicate with 3rd parties due to data protection legal requirements.

If for whatever reasons a payment did not go through, your son or daughter may be asked to make a manual payment towards their accommodation fees. Students can do so by logging to their MyEd Student portal.

If you are looking to make a payment on their behalf, you can make a payment here. To view the payment schedule click here.

Any changes to your method of payments should be made at least 10 working days before the next payment date to allow the changes to be effective.

You can amend the method of payment by following the link below:

Please allow at least 10 working days before your next due instalment to allow the changes to take place.

Many parents / guardians pay the accommodation fees, however, the legal contract is between us and your son or daughter. As such, due to Data Protection regulations, we can usually only discuss the details with them directly.

It's not that we don't want to talk to you, we just have a legal requirement to adhere to guidelines on what information we can give you. We will happily talk to you about any general queries, but we can't go into specific details unless we have your son or daughter's written permission for us to do so.

Any accommodation fee invoices will be sent directly to your son or daughter's University email address. If you need to know the details, you will need to ask your son or daughter to forward it to you. This is also the case for any issues that they may have, we cannot communicate with 3rd parties.

Any changes to your method of payments should be made at least 10 working days before the next payment date. To make alternative arrangements please contact the team.
